Time To Move On...

After the devastation of last Sunday's SuperBowl, Boston fans are dealing with the loss the best way they know how...by getting ready for the Sox.   Over the years Boston fans have had to endure many triumphs and falls of our beloved home teams.  And although the bee sting from Sunday's game was painful, we have learned over time to quickly pull out the stinger, apply the ointment and move on.  Yes, we had an almost perfect season.  Yes it was a disappointment, but no more of a disappointment than the 2003 mistake of leaving Pedro on the mound, then having Aaron Boone (of all players) hit a home run.  But it was made up the next year.  The Red Sox have proven they are the World Champs, and the Pats really didn't need to win the SuperBowl to prove they are the best team (can we say Dynasty?).  Maybe it was over confidence being played out by the media, or maybe the pressure of breaking the record was too overwhelming for the team.  Regardless of what caused our offensive line to fall short, the Pats gave us an unbelievable season to watch, and the fans are grateful.  So now it is time to move on, look forward to spring and baseball, and then by the fall...we will be ready to cheer on our beloved Patriots once again.
