"Jason Bay is headed to Boston as part of the deal, SI.com has learned." - Jon Heyman, SI.com.
Again, I'm worried. If anything, I feel like this is a downgrade from our previous lineup. In 2008, Bay has hit .282 with 22 HR and 64 RBI, all very similar to Ramirez's numbers. What worries me is that when Big Papi comes up in a clutch situation, if there's an open base then the opposing team is sure to put him on. They would never do this with Ramirez batting behind Ortiz. One thing's for sure: Boston is a new team, which will hopefully put him back to his winning ways.
