Wakefield vs. G posted on 07/02/2008
I thought by having Lugo out of the line-up there was hope last night. But with Ellsbury still not in top form, or should I say, I don’t think anyone is in top form right now. It’s pretty discouraging. The games are maddening to watch because you know they have such potential. Why did everyone have to crap the bed at the same time? It seems all we are good at is leaving men on base which makes me crazy!
I really don’t have much to say about the game. Tampa Bays pitcher Garza spit so much I couldn’t stand looking at him. Between Cora boggling the ball, Wakefield’s wild pitches and Manny striking out we’re lucky we got one run.
Hopefully we pick up before we play the Yankees tomorrow night. At least they are having a difficult time right now so I don’t feel so bad.

Red Sox vx Rays posted on 07/01/2008
What the heck is with Manny Ramirez? Fighting over a few tickets? He’s not on steroids he’s taking female hormones. Because let me tell you, many times I’ve wanted to shove someone on their butt. But of course, as a nobody, I’d get in trouble, be brought up on charges and who knows, even end up in jail.
What about the woman who wailed on the other at Disney waiting in line for the Tea Cup ride? Has the world flipped out? We have no patience anymore for anything. I think people should really start manufacturing a chill pill.
Anyway, I just feel something must really be bugging Mr. Ramirez lately. We don’t know so we can only speculate. Hopefully things work out for him and he relaxes a little. It’s no good for anyone to be uptight.Continue reading "Red Sox vx Rays"

Boston Red Sox vs Houston Astros posted on 06/28/2008
The last time The Boston Red Sox met the Houston Astros was at Fenway Park on June 13-15th, 2003. The Red Sox Swept the Astros in that series.
Hernandez vs Dice-K
Not much happened the first two innings. Pedroia gets a 3 run homer in the 3rd. 3-0 Red Sox.
Sean Casey is off his suspension and comes into the game in the 7th. The game started getting a little more exciting during the 7th. Pedroia gets a run in making 4-0 Boston.
In the middle of all the fun Rem Dawg starts making fun of a man who caught the ball with a glove. He said an adult shouldn’t use a glove only a child. I disagree. If someone wants to catch the ball with his glove so what? What does it matter how old he is? The guy was quite happy but then a little kid held out his hat for the man to give him the ball and the man didn’t. I didn’t like that. But who knows maybe he was bringing the ball back to his son who was sick at home. Leave the guy alone and let him enjoy his treasure.

Red Sox vs Arizona Diamondbacks posted on 06/26/2008
Randy Johnson vs. Tim Wakefield
The last time these two pitchers faced off was Sept. 11, 2005 at Yankee Stadium.
Kevin Youkilis was in the game with a black eye like I’ve never seen before. And my favorite, David Ortiz, is chomping at the
bat to get back in the game but rehab will be slow.
1st Inning. Game started on time…no rain! No score either.
2nd Inning: Lowell gets a hit. Coco doubles. Moss gets a hit and a run comes in. 1-0 Sox.
Things got a little exciting in the 5th but nothing became of it.
The 6th Lowell gets another double. Cash walks. Moss flies out but Lowell gets home 2-0 Sox.

Red Sox fans sick of rain! posted on 06/25/2008
Another rain delay last night of 45 minutes.
Rem Dawg got his celebration in before the game. It was very nice to see a company that appreciates their employees. A car! What a great feeling for him to love his job every day. Not many people can say that.
I love Don and Remy it’s what makes the game more enjoyable for me. Other announcers just don’t have the fun these two have. It’s great. And don’t forget Wally.
Very first inning of the game Pedroia gets a homerun, Manny gets a base hit and Lowell’s ball splashes off center field. Pretty soon the duck boats will be touring Fenway. Varitek ends the inning and the Sox are 1-0.
2nd Inning Arizona sends a message back with a run 1-1.
3rd Inning Chad Troy gets a 3 run home making it 4-1 Arizona.
