Lester Impressive as Sox shut down O's posted on 08/19/2008
Jon Lester upped his record to 12-4 with a seven inning, four hit, one run performance against the Baltimore Orioles. Newly acquired Jason Bay hit 2 homers and went 3-5 with 4 rbi's. Lester's era is now 3.17 and he's quietly emerging as the team's most consistent starter. With last night's win the Sox are now 12-4 since trading Manny Ramirez and kept pace with the first place Rays who also won.
