So the Lakers just went up 13-12 on a bullshit foul by Rondo on Kobe. Rondo apparently already has 2. We can see where this is going.
On the plus side, Garnett looks like he came to play tonight. 16-16.

Rondo hits a 3 as the shot clock expires!
and after all that, it's 61-61 with 7 left inthe 3rd
Celtics are going to be in serious foul trouble in the 4th...Garnett just picked up his 4th doing...nothing.

So now the series moves back to Orlando, and I'm willing to bet that Rondo is going to have a bounce-back game, and he will carry the team to the Finals. That is, assuming the SI cover curse doesn't smite him. Damn you SI!!!

I think my favorite part of the night was the taunting cheers of the Garden faithful while James attempted free throws, "New York Knicks... New York Knicks"...I can tell you right now, it's the only time you'll hear Boston fans chanting something besides New York Sucks in the Garden. But Please LeBron, do me the favor of going to the Knicks or the Nets. As if I need any new reason to loathe those teams.

Rondo is playing out of his mind, with 19 assists that led to 45 points in game 2. His energy is the engine of this Celtics team. Rasheed Wallace also remembered how to be a factor in a play-off game. If we continue to see that consistency of effort (and a 7-8 night) then the Celtics bench again becomes a factor, and it will be difficult for any team (with perhaps the exception of an extremely deep Magic team) to beat the Celtics.

Pierce got his 20 points, 9 rebounds; Ray Ray 23 and 7; Rondo 7 and 3 and 11 assists; and Perkins 14 points, 13 huge rebounds; and Big Glen Baby Davi

Here's what C-Nation wants to see: we want Rondo driving to the hoop like he was all series (except for last game). We want Pierce being the captain that he is and taking control like he does in crucial moments. We want Ray Ray hitting his jumper (huge!) and Perkins and Big Baby Davis just doing what they do. And of course, we want to see KG back on the court working his magic.

Rajon Rondo (22 years-old) is a second year player out of the University of Kentucky. I saw enough of this young Wild Cat last year to determine that he may become a good back up point guard at best. After watching 51 games this year, my last year's assessment couldn't be more wrongdo. Rajon has really impressed me this year. Although just a kid, he has developed faster than a picture in one of those $1 photo booths in the mall. But on a more serious note, Rajon's game is just a consistent jump shot away from making him one of the better point guards in the NBA. Unfortunately, a consistent jump shot isn't going to just pop out of a slot for $1. It will take a lot of practice, and he'll have to take more shots than Ole Lep at a Celtics Championship Party, if he wants to be the next Shooter Mcgavin.
