Being a 16 year old fan, I have been lucky enough to be a fan while the Red Sox have been dominating the opposition. I have grown accustomed to championships, something any Red Sox fan shouldn't. It seemed inevitable that the Sawx would comeback from another 3-1 deficit just because they are the Red Sox of the new millenium. I mean they did it to a far scarier Cleveland Indians team last year, and shooot and forget about the 2004 Yankees with All-Stars at every position. When watching the 2nd largest comeback in postseason history in Game 5, I truely believed it was done for the Rays. The magic from Fenway seemed to much for the young Rays team. Adding on to my hopes was Josh Beckett's performance in Game 6. With ace Jon Lester pitching Game 7 i was 90% positive it was over, Sox in 7.

Baseball has been around now for what seems like forever. It has been through "The Great Depression" "World War I" "World War II" "Martin Luther King Junior's era" virtually everything. Baseball has always been something to fall back on, even nowadays. Let's say you have girlfriend problems (that is if you can get one). You get in a fight with the MRS. and need to get away, what do you do? turn on the tube and watch some baseball. Sometimes the fights even start from baseball. Like your other wants some "One On One" time with you, but you'd much rather watch some baseball!!!!! This goes for both men and women who just love the game.
