Sean Casey heading to Boston

Sean Casey will be sporting the crimson this season as the newest member of the defending champs! The Red Sox have been looking for a strong left hand hitting veteran to cover first base to give some time for Youk and Lowell. Casey seems to be the ideal fit for Boston. He's an OBS machine with a great eye and an even better personality. Last season with the Detroit Tigers he hit .296 in 143 games, and is a career .301 hitter.

This is a bit off the sports topic, but something funny nonetheless.

COLLEGE LIFE
CHAPTER ONE: INTRO TO COLLEGE LIFE
College is the institution where people who have been telling their parents to treat them like adults for the past four years realize that it's more fun to act like a kid. It's a place where an eighteen-year-old has their best opportunity in their life to score with their next-door neighbor. College is not just an institution for higher learning that your parents tried to convince you it was while you were in High School, instead it's a sociologist's wet dream where people from ever nook and cranny around the globe converse on one place. It's the real "Real World".
Picking the right university is the first major decision you will be forced to make in your quest for knowledge. There are many reasons to pick one university over another. There’s location, size of the college, cost, availability of classes, variety of majors, but the most original determining factor I’ve heard was from my friend in high school who chose his educational homestead solely on their showing in Playboy’s Women of the PAC-10 issue. Most have a much more rigid screening process.

Left-Handed Bat Sox looking at Clark and a popular former Bostonian home grown

The Sox are looking to bolster their bench with a powerful left-handed bat. One rumor floating around is that Tony Clark is looking for a home and he seems to be out looking to put on some Red Sox. Also Cleveland Indians' Nixon's name has been knocked around a bit, but the hope is that the bat would be able to add some relief for Youk or Lowell and be able to man 1st and possibly one of the corner outfield positions. Who do you think the Sox should go after as their 10th man?

Thank you Giants

Sorry, Eli. It looks like the Giants will come up one game shy this season, and after a nice run in the playoffs, I have to day that the Giants are the Patriot's 12th man! Thank you Giants for losing the final game of the season and allowing Shula of the Dolphins to eat some of our humple pie. Thank you Giants for taking out the ONLY other two teams that might have made this Super Bowl even a possibility that the NFC would take home the title. Thank you Giants for hammering the last nail in the coffin for the Pats to head into the sunset as the best Franchise in football history

PATS PERFECTION An effort to keep the senior citizens of the 72 Miami Dolphins sober in 2007

For years we've had to listen to Donny Shula blabbing on about how his "Perfect Team" is the only undefeated team in history and how every year the 72' Fin clan pops open a bottle of the bubbly and gets trashed celebrating the preservation of their undefeated season for one more year...that is...until this year. Amist the "spygate" problems in New York the new horse has darted to the front of the pack and with 2 additional regular season games the Pats have managed to keep the bubbly corked and kept a few senior citizens sober this season.

I might feel a bit sad for this once "unbeatable" record to be repeated, that is until I heard Mr. Shula cheering for the Ravens to beat the Pats on a Monday Night game. Show some class Donny!
